Ugandan Leone Island singer, Guvnor Ace, is set to tie the knot with a 68-year-old woman.
Guvnor, born Ronald Ssemawere, surprised many when he posted photos of his soon-to-be wife on social media.
Last week, the artiste took to Facebook to reveal he plans to marry his elderly lover.
“Planning a wedding with Mona Lisa, already done with the introduction ceremony,” the post read.
His romance with the 68-year-old has been a subject of debate on online platforms; including Ugandan tabloids.
Since the 28-year-old introduced his mzungu woman as his lover to the public, he has often come under sharp criticism which he often ignores.
To prove his critics that his love for his fiancé is not a passing wind, he composed two songs in her honour titled: Mona Lisa and Mukadde.
In the hit ‘Mukadde’ Guvnor Ace reveals that the elderly woman is the love of his life and he doesn’t care about other people’s views.
“The one you call elderly, I discovered secrets in her and gives me love to the fullest,” sings Guvnor Ace.
Similar protests were made when bongo star Diamond married Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan who is several years his senior.
